Archeology
Gazipaşa has a wealth of archeology to visit! We have the remains of a Roman castle overlooking the beaches. We have our own ongoing excavation in the village of Guney just out of town. Professor Michael Hoff and his team from Lincoln Nebraska have been excavating a Roman town called Antioch ad Cragum. The Remains of a Roman bath and many mosaics preserved to view. Everywhere you turn in Gazipaşa there are places to explore the rich history of the area.
